MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is undoubtedly the most important movie of Sushant Singh Rajput's life. Importantly, in the clutter of biopics that Bollywood keeps on shelling out every year, this particular biopic on the life of a former Indian captain continues to be the most realistic and unforgettable cinematic representation of real-life legend on the big screen.

And the reason why SSR portrayed Dhoni with such aplomb was the hard work he put in during its making. He kept on probing and questioning the Indian cricketing legend repeatedly and consistently making even the cool captain lose his temper. However, during a promotion event organized at the time of the release of the movie, Dhoni backed Sushant Singh Rajput's behavior.

For Sushant Singh Rajput Portraying Me Was Tough Task-MS Dhoni

Usually, Mahi does not react to any situation, be it on the field or even in a press conference. His expressions are neutral. Talking about the same Dhoni said that if SSR portrayed me like that then he would be sitting most of the time in the film. But he wanted to relate to people how I felt in those particular times and that made his task very tough as MS never shows any outward reaction.

Dhoni said, "Sushant has a lot of pressure. Usko mere andar ki feelings bahar nikalna hai and audience ko believe karana hai ki mein andar se aisa feel kar raha hoon. Aur iske liye isne muzhe bahot kureda hai. Ki uss samay kaisa feeling tha, iss samay kaisa feeling tha."

According to Mahi," Yeh reality hai ki hamne bahut kam time spend kiya ek saath. But issne jis tarah ka effort dala hai ki. Ek part cricket bhi tha. Of course, hum sab cricket khelte hai. But screen pe jab aapko present karna padta hai toh aapko certain chize sikhani padti hai. Movie mein isne helicopter shot bhi mara hai and it is exactly like a replica."
