When Sunny Leone Turned A ‘Shaayar’!

Mumbai: Is there any word called ‘impossible’ in Sunny Leone’s dictionary? The Canadian-born Indian-American actress, who is in the ‘best phase’ of her life personally and professionally, has certainly created a name for herself in her seven-year journey of Hindi filmdom. From hosting TV shows to venturing into new business to mothering three children to working in films, she is managing every single thing like none.

No surprises, she is still at the top of the list of Most Googled Celebrities in India, surpassing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

According to Google Trends’ analytics, most searches related to Sunny are with respect to her videos, besides her biopic series “Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story Of Sunny Leone”. Also, the trends show that a large number of searches for Sunny originate from Northeastern states such as Manipur and Assam. Last year, too, Sunny topped the list of Most Googled Celebrities in India.

The 38-year-old actress made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with ‘Jism 2’ after which she featured in films like ‘Ragini MMS 2’, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’, ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’, ‘Mastizaade’ and “One Night Stand”.

During her appearance in Kapil Sharma’s comedy show on Sony TV two years back, the actress was given a welcome by Siddhu Paaji in his usual Shaayari-way.

“Dhadak Uthte Hain Angaray Surmahi Mohol Ho jaata Hai,
Phoot Jaata Hai Jwalamukhi, Dil Out Of Control Ho jaata Hai,
Pathharon Ko Bhi Mohm Karde Jo Apne Husn Se,
Aapke Chhune Se Toh Paani Bhi Petrol Ho jaata Hai.”

To this, the Baby Doll too countered with a funny Shaayari:

“Kisiko Apsara, Kisiko Jalpari Kehte Hain,
Har Heroine Ke Husn Pe Aap Shayari Kehte Hain,
Yun Toh Sab Actress Ko Chedte Hain,
Baad Mein Ghar Jaakar Bhabhi Ko Sorry Kehte Hain.”

Sunny Leone married Daniel Weber in 2011, and together, they have three children. The couple adopted a girl child, Nisha, in 2017 from Latur and announced the birth of her twins Noah and Asher via surrogacy last year.
