Bhubaneswar/Hyderabad: Rebel star Prabhas has a huge fans base since the beginning but the magnum opus of SS Rajamouli, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion made him a household name. Every news related to him is being read and watched by his fans with much love and interest.

At a time when the Baahubali star is at the peak of his career with a plenty of projects in hand, we revisited one of his interviews with IANS when he revealed that he never wanted to be a part of the film industry and wanted to do some business.

Yes, it's true. Given that his father is famous producer Uppalapati Surya Narayana Raju and his uncle Krishnam Raju Uppalapati have the Telugu cinema background, Prabhas never wanted to try his luck in the industry.

During the interview with IANS, Prabhas said he had denied the suggestion of his family to try in film industry and he still 'can't put a finger on what made him change his mind'.

"My uncle is an actor, my dad is a producer, so they asked me if I was interested, and I was like... How can someone act in front of so many people with lights and emote. I used to feel shy... I had thought I will do some business because I am lazy and I can't do jobs. I had thought that maybe I will go into hotel business because our family loves food," said Prabhas.

Regarding a change in his thought, he said, "This is what I remember, (though I) actually don't know what happened inside my mind. One day I was watching my uncle's film directed by Bapu. I imagined myself in my uncle's character... Then I think, it slowly started somewhere."

On the work front, Prabhas' next project is a high octane action movie, Saaho, starring Bollywood actors like Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mandira Bedi. In the female lead, the B-Town's princess Shraddha Kapoor will be seen sharing space with the Baahubali.

'Saaho' is yet to get a release date but it is expected to hit the theaters in early 2019.
