Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1 – January 29 (Netflix)
Netflix returns to Regency-era romance with Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1, inspired by Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer from a Gentleman. This season shifts focus to Benedict Bridgerton, the free-spirited and artistic second son who has resisted societal expectations of marriage. His life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters a mysterious “Lady in Silver” at his mother’s masquerade ball.
As Benedict searches for the woman who captivated him, he repeatedly crosses paths with Sophie Baek, a housemaid forced into servitude by her cruel stepmother, Lady Araminta Gun. The story unfolds as a Cinderella-style romance that challenges rigid class structures, forcing Benedict to choose between aristocratic convention and a love that could scandalise the Ton.
Dhurandhar – January 30 (Netflix)
One of the most awaited releases of the week, Dhurandhar is a high-stakes espionage thriller starring Ranveer Singh in a gritty, transformative role. The film follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a death-row inmate recruited by Indian intelligence for a dangerous undercover mission in Karachi. Assuming the identity of Hamza Ali Mazari, he infiltrates the ISI-underworld nexus led by the ruthless Rehman Dakait.
As Jaskirat rises through the ranks of the criminal network, he becomes entangled in a complex romance and a ticking-clock mission to prevent devastating terror attacks on Indian soil. With a powerful ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt, Dhurandhar blends action, emotion, and political tension, culminating in events leading up to the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
Daldal – January 30 (Amazon Prime Video)
Bhumi Pednekar headlines Daldal, a dark and brutal psychological crime thriller based on Vish Dhamija’s novel Bhendi Bazaar. The series follows Rita Ferreira, the newly appointed DCP of the Mumbai Crime Branch, who is hunting a sadistic serial killer responsible for a string of gruesome murders.
As the investigation progresses, Rita realises the killer’s signature injuries mirror her own suppressed violent thoughts, forcing her to confront unresolved trauma. Battling systemic patriarchy within the police force and relentless media scrutiny, Rita finds herself sinking deeper into a mental and emotional quagmire. Daldal promises a tense cat-and-mouse game where the real danger lies both on the streets of Mumbai and inside the protagonist’s mind.
Devkhel – January 30 (ZEE5)
Set in the eerie coastal village of Devtali in Ratnagiri, Devkhel is a Marathi psychological crime thriller that blends investigation with folklore. The villagers believe that a death occurring every year during the Shimga (Holi) festival is divine punishment from the mythical entity Shankasur.
Inspector Vishwas Saranjame arrives to investigate the latest death and refuses to accept superstition as an explanation. As he digs deeper, he uncovers how fear, faith, guilt, and trauma have transformed human crimes into dangerous myths. The series explores the clash between rationality and blind belief, making Devkhel a chilling and thought-provoking watch.
Sarvam Maya – January 30 (JioHotstar)
Marking a major comeback for Nivin Pauly, Sarvam Maya is a Malayalam horror-comedy with heart. The story centres on Prabhendu, an atheist musician who returns to his ancestral home in Palakkad due to financial trouble and reluctantly takes up his family’s priestly profession.
During a ritual, Prabhendu accidentally exorcises a playful ghost named Delulu, who has no memory of her past. What follows is an unusual bond that helps both characters confront unresolved grief and trauma. Blending humour, emotion, and the supernatural, Sarvam Maya explores identity, tradition, and healing.

Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista star in The Wrecking Crew, a high-octane buddy-cop action comedy. The film follows estranged half-brothers Jonny, a reckless detective, and James, a disciplined Navy SEAL, who reunite in Hawaii to investigate their father’s suspicious death.
As they uncover a conspiracy involving the Yakuza and corrupt officials, the mission turns personal. Packed with action sequences, chases, and humour, The Wrecking Crew balances explosive spectacle with emotional reconciliation.
Wonder Man – January 28 (JioHotstar)
Marvel enters a more meta and character-driven space with Wonder Man. The series follows struggling actor Simon Williams, who secretly possesses superhuman abilities but must hide them due to an industry ban on enhanced individuals.
