The film follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a death-row inmate recruited by Indian intelligence for a dangerous undercover mission in Karachi. As Jaskirat rises through the ranks of the criminal network, he becomes entangled in a complex romance and a ticking-clock mission to prevent devastating terror attacks on Indian soil. Bhumi Pednekar headlines Daldal, a dark and brutal psychological crime thriller based on Vish Dhamija’s novel Bhendi Bazaar. The series follows Rita Ferreira, the newly appointed DCP of the Mumbai Crime Branch, who is hunting a sadistic serial killer responsible for a string of gruesome murders.

As the investigation progresses, Rita realises the killer’s signature injuries mirror her own suppressed violent thoughts, forcing her to confront unresolved trauma. Devkhel – January 30 (ZEE5)

Set in the eerie coastal village of Devtali in Ratnagiri, Devkhel is a Marathi psychological crime thriller that blends investigation with folklore. The villagers believe that a death occurring every year during the Shimga (Holi) festival is divine punishment from the mythical entity Shankasur.

Inspector Vishwas Saranjame arrives to investigate the latest death and refuses to accept superstition as an explanation. As he digs deeper, he uncovers how fear, faith, guilt, and trauma have transformed human crimes into dangerous myths. The series explores the clash between rationality and blind belief, making Devkhel a chilling and thought-provoking watch.

Sarvam Maya – January 30 (JioHotstar)

Marking a major comeback for Nivin Pauly, Sarvam Maya is a Malayalam horror-comedy with heart. The story centres on Prabhendu, an atheist musician who returns to his ancestral home in Palakkad due to financial trouble and reluctantly takes up his family’s priestly profession.

During a ritual, Prabhendu accidentally exorcises a playful ghost named Delulu, who has no memory of her past. Shrinking Season 3 – January 27 (Apple TV+)
