War, starring Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan in the lead was the biggest blockbuster of 2019. YRF who bankrolled the flick made it clear that a sequel to this movie will soon follow. Since the character of Tiger Shroff died in the first movie, he will be replaced by another big star opposite Hrithik Roshan in the Siddharth Anand-helmed sequel.
While the corona pandemic put a break on YRF's plans to roll out the sequel soon after, the leading production house of Bollywood has not dropped the idea. Rather the think tank spent a lot of time last year trying to narrow down names of actors who will be a part of War 2 along with Hrithik Roshan.
Prabhas To Replace Tiger Shroff in War 2?
According to the latest buzz, Baahubali superstar Prabhas will join the successful team of Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan for War 2. Incidentally, the character of the Heropanti actor in the first movie had certain grey shades.
The buzz says that most probably the Tollywood superstar will also play a role with grey shades or that of an antagonist as Hrithik will return as the hero-Kabir. If Prabhas does sign on the dotted lines with YRF, then he is sure of getting smashing box-office success under his belt.
It is because the team of Duggu and Siddharth have delivered to back-to-back big hits-Bang Bang and War. Hence, the expectations are quite high from their third collaboration. Prabhas already has Radhe Shyam-a romantic action thriller with Pooja Hegde ready for release on 30th July 2021.

He has already started shooting for KGF-fame Prashanth Neel's Salaar scheduled to release on April 14 next year.

He also has Nag Ashwin's sci-thriller with Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan and Om Raut's Adipurush in hand. If Prabhas does sign War 2 he will be the only star in entire India with multiple big-budget movies in hand.
