Big South Indian superstars like Prabhas, Vijay Deverakonda, and Rashmika Mandanna are making an entry in Bollywood. Already a few Southern beauties including Pooja Hegde and Rakul Preet Singh have made their presence felt in the B-town grabbing some leading projects of the Hindi entertainment world.
And now with the topmost Southern stars collaborating with the famous and reputed Bollywood banners, things can become difficult for the A-listers in B-town, especially for star kids and mediocre actors who got an entry in the tinsel town more on the basis of their connection rather than talent.

Vijay has already signed a 100-crore deal with Karan Johar who is known to launch star kids through his Dharma Productions. He will debut with Liger opposite Ananya Panday. Similarly, Rashmika Mandanna will debut with Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra.

Importantly, the Southern beauty will be sharing screen space with superstar Amitabh Bachchan in Deadly which is a very big thing for a Bollywood newcomer. Prabhas already has multiple pan India releases lined up with big banners including Adipurush with Tanhaji director Om Raut.
Even Pooja Hegde who debuted in Bollywood a few years ago currently has some big movies like Cirkus with Rohit Shetty, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali with Salman Khan in her kitty. Rakul Preet Singh is also doing multiple Hindi movies at present. It indicates that now the B-town filmmakers are choosing Southern divas over others in the Hindi film industry.
Will Entry of Southern Superstars Affect Star Kids, Average Actors?
Many star kids including Alia Bhatt, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan have been launched by Dharma Productions. Similarly, many other leading banners including YRF, Salman Khan, and Sajid Nadiadwala launched star kids Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi, and more.
While Alia is indeed a very good actress and even Varun has delivered good hits in the past, it's constant backing from Karan and David Dhawan that has helped these two.

But in the case of Prabhas, Vijay Deverakonda, or even Rashmika, these are already big superstars in the South and have a huge following already. So when their movies will release in theaters these fans will definitely go to watch their favorite stars on big screens.

Moreover, the corona pandemic and lockdown proved that today's audience prefers good content and performances. Tollywood superstars like Prabhas, Rashmika, and Vijay Deverakonda are known for delivering high octane performances.
That is why things are certainly going to be tough for mediocre actors and star kids in the B-town once the movies of these South Indian superstars hit the theaters.
