The south diva, who will also be soon entering bollywood opposite Siddharth Malhotra in 'Mission Majnu', is always in limelight for her career choices and also her personal life.
The actress, who had got engaged to her Kirik Party co-star Rakshit Shetty in 2017, had called off her engagement a year later following which she was heavily trolled by her ex's fans on social media.
She was subjected to personal attacks and to a number of media speculations and rumors following her spilt.
However, after her break up, there were several reports that the Bheeshma actress was dating her Dear Comrade co-star Vijay Deverkonda.
Even thought the duo has not accepted the same in the public light, there have been several incidents on social media that added fuel to the fire.
In one such incidents, the Arjun Reddy star was seen taking a stand for Rashmika when she was asked about her break up during their film 'Dear Comrade' promotions.
Reportedly, in the event when a reporter asked the south beauty about about her broken engagement, Vijay came out in her defense and said, "I don’t even know your question…but it is no one’s business. Like I am giving an answer. I don’t even understand the question…how is it anyone’s business…"
After Vijay silenced the reporter, Rashmika Mandanna on a lighter note reacted to the reporter's question and said "It is so long of a question for me to understand it as well."
Vijay coming in rescue for Rashmika during the event was an example of true friendships and friendship goals.
Even though both the actors have on record admitted that they both are single and currently not dating anybody, their fans have still not left the hope of seeing the duo together!
