Vicky Kaushal is a big fan of Prabhas. In his interviews, he has repeatedly said that he loves the dynamism that the Tollywood superstar brings to his character on the silver screen and has watched Baahubali many times. Now Vicky has got a chance to share screen space with him in a mega-project.

According to the latest buzz, the Raazi actor has been roped in to play the role of Lakshmana in Om Raut helmed Adipurush. The movie is a cinematic adaptation of the famous mythological epic Ramanyana in which Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan will be playing the role of Rama and Lankesh respectively.

Prabhas Has Big Hopes From Adipurush

The mega-movie to be made in multiple languages will get a pan India as well as a worldwide release. Prabhas who has been ruling the Telugu movie industry for the last many years have big hopes from Adipurush.

And understandably so because Om Raut who earlier directed Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan's blockbuster Tanhaji will be behind the cameras for Adipurush once again.

Raut is using an international level VFX technology to ensure that the entire saga and fight sequences between Ram, Lakshmana, and Ravana come alive on the screen. He has already started creating the world of Adipurush in January this year.

While Prabhas is currently busy shooting for Prashanth Neel's Salaar he will soon join the shooting of Adipurush which will star Kriti Sanon as Sita Devi.

Adipurush will release in August next year.
