Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor who star in ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ together are reportedly tested positive for Covid along with director Raj Mehta. Co-star Anil Kapoor has meanwhile tested negative for the same. The shoot in Chandigarh as of now has reportedly come to a halt.
The shooting has been out on hold until the lead star cast and director are healthy again, stated a report in Filmfare.
The shooting of the film kicked off last month and the star cast comprising of Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Singh, Anil Kapoor, and Prajakta Kohli shared a glimpse of them flying together to Chandigarh
Neetu had shared earlier that the crew has been tested negative for Covid and stated that all safety precautions are being taken. She wrote on her Instagram “ My first flight, in these scary times !! Nervousss for this journey !! While Kapoor Sahab, you aren’t here holding my hand, I know you are with me .. #RnR thank you for encouraging me to do this.. ❣️❣️ #jugjuggjeeyoP.S. - We are all Covid tested and safe, hence removed mask while taking picture.”
