Mumbai: Several television celebrities will get together in a virtual music concert to pay a tribute to Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, who passed away last week.

Titled Dard-e-Dil, the concert includes artistes like Bharati Singh, Maniesh Paul, Hina Khan, Arjun Bijlani, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Sukhwinder Singh and Aditya Narayan among others.

"This tribute is a great chance for us to pay respects to these two legends of Bollywood. Both Rishi Kapoor ji and Irrfan Khan have given so much joy to us fans through their work. The last week was indeed the worst week for Indian Cinema as we lost two legends one after the other. They may have gone from the world but they will live in our hearts forever through the work they have done. I am honoured beyond words that I have been chosen to give them tribute to them through this concert. We will celebrate their unforgettable contribution to Bollywood and pay the tribute," Bharati said.

Irrfan breathed his last on April 29 at the age of 54. He was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital with a colon infection. However, unfortunately, he succumbed to his ailment. Rishi Kapoor passed away a day later at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on April 30. He had been battling leukaemia for the past two years.

The concert will be aired on Colors channel on Sunday, May 10.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of the late actor Rishi Kapoor, has shared a couple of throwback photographs of her father.

Riddhima took to Instagram Stories and shared a couple of monochrome pictures. The first image has Rishi holding his mother, the late Krishna Raj Kapoor's hand while dancing.

Captioning the image, Riddhima wrote: "Reunited with his most favourite person."

The other image seems to be from Rishi and Neetu Singh's wedding celebrations.

Earlier, Riddhima had shared a throwback family photograph from her childhood days.

She arrived in Mumbai from New Delhi on May 2 by road to be with her mother and Ranbir Kapoor. Riddhima did not get permission to fly down due to the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, and could not be in Mumbai on time to attend her father's last rites.

Riddhima came along with her daughter Samara.

Late actor Rishi Kapoor's wife Neetu Kapoor on Tuesday thanked Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani and his family.

Taking to Instagram, Neetu penned a post expressing her gratitude to the Ambanis for being a constant support to Rishi Kapoor during his two-year-long battle with cancer.

"For us, as a family, the last two years have been a long journey. There were good days, there were a couple of bad days too.. needless to say it was full of high emotion. But it's a journey we would not have been able to complete without the immeasurable love and support of the Ambani family.

"As we've gathered our thoughts over the past few days we've also tried to find the words to express the gratitude we feel towards the family for the countless ways in which they have seen us safely through this time. Over the last seven months every member of the family has gone above and beyond in every way possible to care for our beloved Rishi and ensure he experienced as little discomfort as possible," Neetu wrote.

Neetu also shared how Ambanis comforted her and her family and took proper care of Rishi Kapoor during the hard times.

"From ensuring he was medically attended to, to making frequent, personal visits to the hospital to shower him with love and attention, to even holding our hand and comforting us when WE were scared.

"To Mukesh Bhai, Nita Bhabhi, Akash, Shloka, Anant and Isha - you have been our guardian angels on this long and trying experience - what we feel for you can not be measured. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your selfless, unending support and attention. We feel truly blessed to count you among our nearest and dearest," she added.

Along with her note, Neetu posted a picture in which Rishi Kapoor can be seen sharing smiles with Mukesh and Nita Ambani. Neetu is also present in the image.
