Alia Bhatt is currently busy shooting for her big project “Brahmastra” opposite beau Ranbir Kapoor directed by Ayan Mukherjee. Produced by Karan Johar, Amitabh Bachchan, and Shah Rukh Khan are also going to play a crucial role in this movie which is rumoured to be produced in three parts. The actress who made her debut with Dharma Productions “Student of the Year” in 2012 in the span of just 7 years has managed to establish herself as one of the best actresses of B-town from the current lot.
Before coming into movies, during her adolescence, Alia Bhatt was quite fat and had to struggle a lot to become slim. That is why even today, she is very much focused on what she eats every day.
Beet Root Salad & Chia Pudding
Recently, the “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya” actress uploaded a video on her YouTube channel giving a tour of her kitchen and what exactly she cooks or eats. In the video, the fashion diva is seen cooking with her head chef Dilip Pandit and preparing a few healthy meals that she loves to eat to stay in shape. Her hot favourite and the most preferred dish is beetroot salad which is loaded with all the essential nutrients and hence is extremely healthy.
For preparing this salad, Alia added boiled and grated beetroot, curry leaves, black pepper, yoghurt, cumin seeds, and a few more ingredients along with oil in a very small quantity. According to the actress, she ate this salad a lot during the filming of “Dear Zindagi.”
Another dish that she eats on a regular basis is Chia pudding. Chia seeds have very low calories but are a powerhouse of nutrients. Rich in antioxidants, magnesium, fibre, protein Alia usually eats chia pudding as her breakfast meal or even during evening hours as a snack. For the right taste and balance of nutrients, the “Raazi” actress blends roasted chia seeds with coconut milk, one scoop protein powder and artificial sweeteners few drops.
On her cheat days, Alia loves to eat traditional Indian desserts like Moong dal halwa and Kheer. In the video, the chef also mentions that Alia loves to gorge on khichdi and rajma salad.
