The famous Indian cricketer revealed that he made a journey of 47 hours just to propose to his wife. Incidentally, Priyanka Raina is the daughter of Suresh Raina's cricketing coach. So they knew each other since childhood and even played together.
But after that, there was a gap between the two. While Suresh pursued his cricketing career Priyanka graduated and started working in a bank in Europe. So after a gap of around 8 years when Suresh thought of marrying Priyanka, she wanted to see him personally.

At that time Suresh Raina was on a tour of Australia. But he wanted to please his would-be-wife and hence took a journey of 47 hours. From Australia, he went to Dubai and from there to London just to propose to Priyanka.
Suresh also revealed that he is a good cook and loves to feed people.
