Putting an end to the months of speculations regarding his return to Sony's The Kapil Sharma Show, it seems Sunil Grover aka Dr Mashoor Gulati's has finally confirmed that he is in no mood to return to the small screen.

During a recent interview with IANS, the comedian-turned-actor said, "I had been doing work in a particular space (before 'Bharat'), but this was an opportunity for which I give credit to the team of the film... To Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of the film, and Salman sir. I had made an impression for doing comedy and succeeding in one particular genre, but they took a chance on me and gave me this opportunity."

Sunil further said, "After this, I have started getting the kind of roles which are not only restricted to comedy. The perception of me has changed now and people consider me as an actor."

These statements of Sunil have left fans of The Kapil Sharma Show, who had been eagerly waiting for his return, wondering whether Sunil indirectly confirmed that he is happy and enjoying doing movies and no more interested or have already given up (some kind of) on TKSS... !

Though Sunil's statements can't be taken as any short of confirmation related to his return to TKSS or sticking to films only, fans continue to hope that the day is in the offing when they will once again watch both Kapil and Sunil sharing the screen space on Sony's TKSS.
