“The Kapil Sharma Show” returned once again on television with Salman Khan’s backing. Of course, many people love it and watch it regularly. But its popularity has come down a lot since last few months. The show that earlier was in the top 3 in the TRP has now failed to get a position in the top 5 and is struggling to get a hold over the audience.

From his tussle with Gutthi aka Sunil Grover to his notorious banter in a drunken state on social media, Kapil Sharma’s image took a nosedive a couple of years ago and he is yet to find the same support and popularity that he enjoyed when the show first started.

Maniesh Paul Is The New Challenge

Maniesh Paul is one of the highest-paid anchors on Indian television today. From hosting leading dance reality shows to music shows, the “Mickey Virus” actor has done a wonderful job all through his career. Currently, he is hosting the celebrated “Nach Baliye 9” wherein actress Raveena Tandon and choreographer Ahmed Khan are the celebrity judges.

Also, Maniesh recently launched his new reality show “Movie Masti” on Zee TV and it was visited by the “Housefull 4” stars that enjoyed all the banter and masti with Maniesh and Ali Asagar who earlier played Dadi in Kapil Sharma’s show.

The show is aired every Saturday and Sunday at 9.30 pm almost the same time when “The Kapil Sharma Show” comes on “Sony” television. So the show of Kapil Sharma now has competition from Maniesh Paul who has been successful in his every stint on television.

That is why there are strong chances that the show might go off the air soon. Also, after a while having the same routine dialogues of Sapna or Baccha Yadav, the audience is now looking for something new and Paul’s show seems a good option to switch over for more fun and novelty.
