The Kapil Sharma Show is currently on a hiatus. As expected fans are eagerly waiting for the famous comedy show to return to the small screen. However, there has been no definite confirmation from either the makers or the actors. Kapil did intimate that he was going on a paternity break and the hiatus will be brief.

But now it seems there has been a change in the schedule created for the comeback of The Kapil Sharma Show.

The Kapil Sharma Show to  Make Comeback in July 2021

Earlier it was decided that the show will take a brief break of only two months. Apart from the fact that Kapil's wife was due with a second child, the famous comedian also wanted to focus on his upcoming web series all set to release on Netflix soon.

Also, the show offers one of the biggest platforms for promoting movies and its TRP also depends a lot on the celebrity guests that appear on the show. With very few theatrical releases scheduled for March, the makers thought it best to take a pause for a short time.

However, according to the latest update the show's return has been delayed further. With the corona cases in Mumbai rising at an alarming speed, the makers have been forced to delay the show's comeback. Now most probably, The Kapil Sharma Show will return on TV in July.

Hopefully, by then the cases of corona will have dropped further and the show can once again start inviting the audience.

Last year when Kapil and his team returned to the small screen, their first guest was Sonu Sood who emerged as a messiah during the lockdown. Now fans are eager to know who will be the first guest on Sony's show when it returns to television.
