As per a report in Peeping Moon, the makers have roped in Sara for the high-octane action movie.

So far, fans have seen the Kedarnath actress in love stories in cheerful characters. If the reports are anything to go by, Sara will change the track and will be seen doing a few stunts.

The sci-fi mythological action film- The Immortal Ashwatthama will revolve around the powerful warrior Ashwatthama. As reports suggest, Sara has begun training to bring perfection in her action sequences. Though there are no information regarding her role in the movie, sources said, she will be portraying the role of a powerful character.

Fans have come across several updates and posts on Vicky, who has begun his physical training, through the actor's social media handles. Apart from flaunting his muscular body, the actor has also shared exhibiting his skills in horse riding and archery.

Vicky will be seen portraying the immortal warrior from the epic Mahabharata, who played a crucial role in the war between Pandavas and Kauravas.

Moreover, the movie reunites Vicky with his URI: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar and producer Ronnie Screwvala. Ronnie’s production house RSVP unveiled the first look of Vicky in The Immortal Ashwatthama.

The first glimpse of the poster shows a futuristic setting with multiple skyscrapers in the background and Vicky as Ashwatthama holding a lightning sword.

“Ashwatthama is Aditya’s dream project and it required the backing of a visionary like Ronnie to bring this spectacle to audiences. It’s going to be a new space for me as an actor, exploring the newest form of technology alongside acting. Can’t wait to start the journey soon with this wonderful team,” the Indian Express quoted Vicky as saying.

Writer and director- Aditya said he will handle The Immortal Ashwatthama in a responsible manner as it’s a retelling of an epic and includes sentiments and religious belief of many.

“We are working hard to create a visual spectacle that audiences across India would have never seen before. I promise this would not just be a film, but an experience. More than the pressure, I am taking this film as a responsibility of telling this epic story, in the way it is meant to be told. I hope audiences shower the same love to Ashwatthama as they did to URI,” Aditya was quoted as saying.

After the completion of the script and star cast finalisation, Ashwatthama will go on shooting floors later this year.
