Thalapathy Vijay's Master is one of the most awaited South Indian movies. And it is also one of the first big movies to hit the theaters' post relaxation of corona lockdown norms. As expected fans of the superstar are eagerly awaiting the release of Master and now it seems that their anticipation can lead to the movie creating a sort of record at the box-office.
Thalapathy Vijay's Master To Get Wide Release
Master is all set to get a huge release in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and all South Indian states. According to reports all the screens in Kerala (around 80%) that are reopening will screen Master. One of the major reasons why the theater exhibitors are ready to offer Master their screen is because Thalapathy Vijay waited for its theatrical release instead of opting for OTT options.
Reports also say that there have been huge advance booking for Master indicating that the movie is on the verge of creating a box-office record. Leading film exhibitor and distributor Akshaye Rathi updated the current advance booking status for Master.
He wrote, "Insane advance bookings for #ThalapathyVijay@actorvijay’s #Master all over Tamil Nadu! Truly hope the film can make an impact in north India & heat up the exhibition sector’s engines. #VijayTheMaster#MasterPongal #Thalapathy."
Producers Release New Promo, Intro Scene of Master Leaked?
The producers today released yet another promo that includes a 10-second dialogue to further entice the audience to come to theaters.
Fans of Thalapathy Vijay became anxious when news about some scenes from the movie getting leaked surfaced online. But there has been no such confirmation from the makers.
While Master seems to be all set to make it big in South India, the success of the movie in the Northern territory is still questionable. Vijay fans believe that promotions of Master in North India are not adequate. Still, if the film happens to be good, through word of mouth Master might pick up in the Hindi-speaking belt.
Thalapathy Vijay's Master will release worldwide on 13 January on the eve of Pongal.
