The Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi's much-awaited South Indian movie Master will release tomorrow on the eve of Pongal. But even before its actual release, a few scenes from the flick leaked online creating a sort of crisis for the team. It led to a big outrage on Twitter with fans demanding immediate arrest of those involved in the leak.

Thalapathy Vijay's fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of Master also requested not to share the leaked clips.

Even the director of Master Lokesh Kangaraj appealed not to share the leaked footage of the movie. He wrote, "Dear all It's been a 1.5-year-long struggle to bring Master to u. All we have is hope that you'll enjoy it in theatres. If u come across leaked clips from the movie, please don't share them. Thank u all. Love u all. One more day and #Master is all yours."

Insider Who Leaked Footage of Thalapathy Vijay's Master Found

The good news is that the insider person who has been behind this dubious act has finally been tracked. According to Sify.com, he is none other than an employee at the Sony Digital Company. Now the company is planning legal action against him.

While most of the fans of Thalapathy Vijay were irked and disappointed with this incident, there are a few who believe that the leak actually has worked in favor of Master. They believe that the leaked footage has rather enhanced the anticipation and excitement for the movie.

While piracy is certainly bad, this time around it may not affect the box-office collection of Master as most of the shows of the first two days are already booked in advance. Thalapathy Vijay's fans even flouted the corona norms to make sure that they get the tickets.

Master will release tomorrow in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada. A dubbed version in Hindi will be released in North India simultaneously.
