Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Ajay Devgn Gets Curious About Dayaben’s Whereabouts

“Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” continues to be in top 5 in TRP rankings despite the absence of its leading star Disha Vakani aka Dayaben. But this does not mean that  fans do not miss Daya’s character. In the upcoming episode, Kajol and Ajay Devgn will be seen visiting the Gokuldham to promote their latest movie “Tanhaji.”

The leading Bollywood couple will join hands with Popatlal to play a prank with Bhide who has earlier promised the Gokuldhamwasi that some special guests are arriving in their society.  Ultimately the couple does come to Gokuldham and Bhide reveals his reasons for welcoming them this time in their society. According to Bhide “Tanhaji” is his 100th film and Ajay is also completing 30 years in Bollywood this year. Everyone congratulates Ajay for the feat and wishes the couple good luck for their movie.

Ajay Devgn Misses Presence Of Daya

It is quite common for Gokuldham people to welcome celebrities from Bollywood as many stars come to society to promote their movies. Ajay Devgn too has come to “Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” many times. And every time he has come, Ajay has met Dayaben and talked with her. During the promotion of his movie “Himmatwala” with Sajid Khan he even requested Daya to send Dhokla at the hands of Jethalal.

So when in the upcoming episode he will not see Dayaben among the other members of Gokuldhamwasi the “Singham” star will ask Jethalal about her whereabouts. As usual, Jethalal will tell that she is in Ahmadabad.  It also indicates that everyone including guests who visit Gokuldham is missing Daya’s character in the serial even though fans are watching the show as they love it.

Now it is up to the makers and Disha Vakani to come to some compromise about her working contract so that Disha can once again bring alive the character of Daya on the small screen.
