During a recent interaction with Travel + Leisure India, the couple reflected on how their relationship began- marked not by grand declarations, but by warmth, honesty, and ease. 

Speaking about their very first date, Veer shared, “I love that we have embraced our affection and love since our first date and have never shied away from expressing how we feel wherever we are.”

Music, Moonlight, and a Memorable Evening

When asked if there was a turning point early on, Veer recalled a night steeped in music and emotion.

“It was probably our first date night, where I played the piano, and she sang until the sun came out,” he said, describing the moment that deepened their bond.

Tara, however, views their connection as something that steadily evolved rather than crystallised in one instance.

“Sticking by each other through thick and thin as if we have known each other our whole lives,” she said, reflecting on what made their relationship special from the start.

“The Isle of Capri Was Where You Take Your Best Friend…”

Their first trip together carried just as much meaning. Tara revealed that the destination was inspired by a cherished family belief.

“Growing up, my mum had always told me the Isle of Capri was where you take your best friend and beloved because there is an old saying that if you embrace this person on the boat while passing through the isle, you will stay this special forever, and that’s exactly what we did,” she shared.

Veer echoed the sentiment, adding that Capri held a personal significance for him even before they met.

“Of course, it was somewhere very special to both of us on the Amalfi coast. Even before we knew each other, it was the one place we wanted to visit when we knew we had found our special one,” she added.

Moving Forward Together

Since making their relationship public, Tara and Veer have continued to make joint appearances and share glimpses of their life together.
