While Dayaben is an important part of TMKOC, replacing her is not going to be easy as she has made the character iconic with her special Gujarati accent and dancing style. But now an actress who already is working in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has opened up on doing the character of Daya for the comedy show.

Sunayana Fouzdar Opens Up on Doing Daya in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
Sunayana Fouzdar joined the TMKOC team a few months ago as Anjali Taarak Mehta after Neha Mehta who earlier played this part left the show citing creative differences with the makers. Sunayana is one of the very few TMKOC actresses who regularly keeps on giving her opinions about various things happening on the sets and also related to the show.
Recently, she opened up about the character of Daya and whether she would like to do it someday given the chance. Sunayana said, "Although I have not played the character of Daya before I can very well mold myself into it because I have done such a crazy character before."

She further added, "While that character was not similar to Daya's role, it was a crazy one. I would love to play the role of Daya. Who will not love to do so? I will never say no to do this role given the chance because an actor should never say no. Currently, I'm playing Anjali Bhabhi and I'm very happy doing that role. I think I can do a lot with this character and since I have joined Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah 6 to 7 months ago I have been doing a lot of exploring."
