Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Is Disha Vakani Dubbing for Animated Daya?

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will now have an animated version titled Taarak Mehta Ka Chhota Chashmah. This animated version will start airing on Sony YAY from the mid of April this year and will include all the characters of Gokuldham that are a part of the regular show on SAB TV.

It means that the animated version will also include the character of Dayaben played by Disha Vakani in the serial. So will she be dubbing for her role as Daya for this animated series?

Will Disha Vakani Dub For Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Animated Version?

Recent reports suggest that Disha Vakani who took a break from the show almost three years ago is not returning back. So the makers will now have to find a replacement for Daya's character.

Considering the fact that Daya's character is also a part of the animated version Taarak Mehta Ka Chhota Chasmah fans are eager to know whether Disha will at least dub for her character in the animated series or not.

However, it seems Disha Vakani is not going to do the dubbing. Instead, a dubbing artist who earlier dubbed Daya's character in one of the episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah earlier this year has been roped in to also dub for the animated version of Dayaben.

In one of the episodes that aired in early February this year, Sundarlal gives a letter of Daya to Jethalal which he reads for Babuji and Tappu. While he is reading the letter one can hear the voice of Daya as if she is telling her feelings through the letter.

While the first few lines were taken from Disha Vakani's earlier episode, the other edition was dubbed by a dubbing artist and no one could recognize that it was not Disha but someone else reading that letter.

Reportedly, the same artist is going to dub Daya's character in the animated version of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
