Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Disha Vakani's Co-stars Are Stopping Her Return?

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah continues to be one of the most-watched serials on television. It has been constantly in the first 10 in the TRP rankings despite completing more than a decade on television. All the characters in the show are very famous and have done an excellent job of entertaining the audience. The hottest pair of the show is Dayaben and Jethalal. However, a couple of years ago, Disha Vakani who portrayed Daya took a break from the show as she was pregnant.

Fans of the show are missing her and want her back on the show. Even the makers of “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” especially its producer Asit Kumar Modi want Disha to return as Daya. But there have been several problems as Disha has put forth a few conditions in her contract.

Disha’s Co-stars Do Not Want Her Back?

According to reports, the daughter of Disha is still very small and hence she cannot work full time or for long hours as she used to do before delivery. That is why she has asked for a six hours limited work time permit from Asit Kumar. Insider sources have said that the producer even has accepted her condition considering Disha’s need and also her huge popularity.

Earlier reports circulated that Asit Kumar and Disha Vakani could not agree to work terms and hence the show maker is looking for a replacement. However, according to the latest news, it is not Asit Kumar but co-stars of Disha who are stopping her return. These co-stars continue to work for long hours similar to what Disha did earlier.

They have questioned why limited hours working privilege is being offered to Disha whereas they are being made to work for more hours. Since many senior actors from the show have objected to Disha working for fewer hours, her return is currently on hold.
