Bhubaneswar: Even as fans across the country are curious about her return on popular TV serial 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', a photograph of Disha Vakani aka Dayaben with her former co-stars has gone viral on social media. It has fuelled speculations about her much awaited return on the TV show.
After the photograph went viral on social media platforms fans lined up urging the actress to come back on the show at the earliest.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running shows on television in the country.
The said photograph of Dayaben accompanied by a caption, “Guys Do You Miss Me At #TMKOC” has been shared on Instagram’s fan page. The caption ostensibly hints at the possible return of the actor in the serial, triggering expectation run wild among fans who have been following the show since it’s inception and were jolted by her sudden exit.
In another post, a selfie of Disha alongside her former co-stars Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal, Babita aka Munmun Dutta and show's producer Asit Kumar Modi has also gone viral on social media.
It is pertinent to mention here that Disha had quit 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' in 2018 post her delivery.
As per reports, the makers had even tried to bring Disha back on board. However, the plans did not materialise due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Nevertheless, an official confirmation from the makers about Dayaben’s return to the show is eagerly awaited.
