Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Producer Asit Modi Confirms Dayaben’s Return

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running television shows and the sitcom still continues to top the TRP charts. However, the old fans of the show keep missing the show’s star attraction Dayaben aka Disha Vakhani. Much to fans’ delight, recently producer Asit Modi hinted at the return of Dayaben in the show.

After many hullabaloos about Dayaben’s return to the show, Producer Asit Modi finally broke his silence on the character’s return and Disha Vakhani. While talking to a news portal, Asit said even after Disha left the show, the audience wanted to see her. She is very lucky to be loved by the audience to such an extent. He added that if Vakhani is not able to join the show because of her family issues then he respects the decision. Finally confirming the return of Dayaben’s character, he added that it is fine if Disha wants to come or they will find someone else to play the character but Dayaben will return to the show.

For the uninitiated, Disha Vakani took a maternity break in 2017 and since then there were talks of her return on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Producers had been in touch with Disha and there were some ongoing negotiations that were being worked upon. But unfortunately, Disha decided to quit due to family and other personal issues. ‘
