Sangati Jogwar

Sushant Singh Rajput during a throwback interview stated that he would like to play himself in a biopic made on his life. The actor along with Kriti Sanon was answering a few rapid-fire questions during the promotion of their movie Raabta. Faridoon Shahriyar, the host asked him whether he would like to be a part of yet another biopic after MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Sushant Singh Rajput said, "To be very honest and I am not being arrogant here I want to specify. But I want something to happen in my life or do something in my life. I really would like to do a film on myself and act in it. I just want to see how I do it." Kriti who is sitting beside Sush starts laughing and says that the actor seems to be self-obsessed. But the Kedarnath actor denies that.

Sushant Singh Rajput Believed Playing Himself in His Biopic Was an Original Idea

The actor continued, "Its a very original idea. This idea is so fresh I mean playing myself." Even the interviewer agrees that it would be a great story like coming from a small town, starting as a television actor, and achieving success in Bollywood. The host agrees to this idea saying that Sachin played himself in his own biopic. But Kriti says, "That was a documentary."

Sushant takes the discussion further saying, "Something should happen in my life and the biopic should be made." Incidentally, something big did happen in his life and that was his death. While the mysterious deaths of big stars like Sridevi and Divya Bharti did receive a lot of attention, it did not become a mass movement. Today people across the world are demanding justice for Sushant.

The dream of Sushant to act in his own biopic could not materialize. However, Vijay Shekhar Gupta is producing a movie inspired by the life of the actor. Titled Suicide or Murder: A Star Was Lost, Sachin Tiwari a Sushant Singh Rajput look-alike will play the lead role in this movie.
