Indian Idol 12 currently airs at 8 pm, the prime time slot on Sony Television. Usually, the prime time runs from 7 pm to 11 pm but the time between 8 pm to 10 pm is when most people watch entertainment shows.

Right from the start, the music reality show has been given the slot of 8 to 9.30 pm. But now this spot has been grabbed by none other than Super Dancer 4. The singing show has now been shifted to a slot between 9.30 pm to 11 pm, a slot earlier held by The Kapil Sharma Show.

While it still indicates that Indian Idol 12 is a prime-time show, Sony has decided to give more preference to Super Dancer 4.

Indian Idol 12's Popularity Comes Down After Controversies, Super Dancer 4 Looks  Promising

The show kicked off to a great start as the judges picked up some highly promising singers. But slowly truth about a few contestants who faked poverty (Sawai  Bhatt), or being new in the entertainment business (Sayali Kamble and Pawandeep Rajan) came to the fore.

And as a result, the show has lost the trust of the majority of fans who have now turned back to Indian Idol 12. Dipping TRP's can be one of the reasons why Sony Television decided to shift the timing of the music reality show.

On the other hand, as usual, Super Dancer's upcoming schedule looks highly promising with small kids presenting some of the most stunning and unbelievable performances.

Super Dancer 4 starts on 27th March at 8 pm and will be followed by Indian Idol 12 at 9.30 pm which will include a Holi special episode.
