‘Sundergarh Ra Salman Khan’ opens to packed theatres

Bhubaneswar: Movie goers had a fiesta with the release of Tarang Cine Productions’ Raja entertainer ‘Sundergarh Ra Salman Khan’ across Odisha on Wednesday .

The 2 hour 40 minutes blockbuster with chocolate boy Babushan and debutant Divya in lead roles was premiered at packed-to-capacity Jayashree Hall in Cuttack and Shriya Talkies here today.

The movie got an awesome response during its grand premiere with fans thronging the theatres to get a glimpse of Babushan and other actors.

“The movie has a Hindu-Muslim characterisation. I am excited and hopeful that it will be warmly appreciated,” said actor Babushan said during the premiere show.

“I am lucky to be a part of the film and working with so many talented actors. Thanks to the people who are giving us so much love and support,” said lead actor Divya.

With a unique name and full of action packed-family drama, the film received overwhelming response after its release in 70 theatres across the State on the opening day today.

Directed by Ashok Pati, the movie also features Bobby Mishra, Papu Pom Pom and Usasi Mishra.

The movie’s music composed by Abhijit Majumdar hadalready created ripples before its release and its songs like ‘Pyar Wala Hichki’ and others sung by Human Sagar, Jagruti have been appreciated by music lovers.

“All songs are good. But I loved the GST song which is mind blowing. I think it would be a big hit this Raja fest,” said a member of the audience.

Sundargarh Ra Salman Khan is the 12th release of Tarang Cine Productions, Odisha’s leading film production house. The producers are hopeful that the movie would do wonders at the box office.

“The movie promises full entertainment for audience and it feels really good to see the response from the people,” said Director Ashok Pati.
