Senior leader and Parliamentarian Subramanian Swamy today reiterated that Sushant Singh Rajput has been murdered and claimed that that the actor was killed because he was 'too talented to handle'.

Swamy took to Twitter and wrote, "Motive 1 for murder of Sushant is now clear. He was too independent and too talented for the Bollywood cartel to ignore. They could not compete so eliminate him. Rest is Bollywood cinema type alibi..."

The Rajya Sabha Member further said that he will soon share the 'Motive 2' behind the alleged murder of Sushant while staying that the second motive is a political one. "...Motive 2 I will state later— it is political but I need more research," he continued in the same tweet.

While replying to a Twitterati on the possibility of the accused getting arrested, Swamy said, "So much evidence destruction has taken place that CBI will take time. The Agency does not want a goof up as in Aarushi case."

On the other hand, the CBI continues to grill both Rhea Chakraborty and her brother in connection with the death of Sushant. At the same time, the Narcotics department and the ED are looking into the drugs and financial angles in the case respectively.

On the other hand, after the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) recently issued notices to the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Mumbai Police, BMC on Monday denied giving any permission for Rhea Chakraborty's purported "visit" to the morgue where the body of Sushant Singh Rajput was kept.

Following the BMC's reply, it is now believed that all those found involved in the matter could be liable for legal consequences.
