Shruti Hassan & Janhvi Kapoor To Step Into The Shoes Of Kiara Advani, Nayanthara

Kiara Advani has become a favourite for digital platforms with her stint in Guilty and Lust Stories. Kiara’s bold performance in Lust Stories along with Vicky Kaushal who played the role of her husband in the movie was highly praised.

After the massive success of the Lust Stories, directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee, the makers have decided to release a Telugu version of it.

According to reports in Tollywoodnet, Shruti Haasan is being considered for the role of Kiara Advani in Lust Stories. The shooting for this segment of the movie is complete and Shruti's performance in the movie has impressed everyone on the sets.

Lust Stories Telugu remake is being directed by  Tarun Bhaskar, Sankalp Reddy, and Nandini Reddy.  Earlier there was buzz that the makers were considering the names of  Amala Paul and Eesha Rebba, to play Kiara’s character in Lust Stories but they zeroed in on the Southern stunner Shruti to reprise Kabir Singh star’s role in the remake.

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor who also made her digital debut with Karan Johar’ Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, has reportedly signed her next project. The newbie Kapoor is reportedly all set to reprise the role of superstar Nayanthara in the remake of crime comedy hit, Kolamavu Kokila. The Dhadak girl will be playing the role of a young girl who gets involved in drug racket to earn quick money.

The remake will be directed by Siddharth Sengupta  who has previously worked as an AD in movies like Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and Agneepath.  Currently, Janhvi is looking forward to the release of her horror-comedy, Roohi Afzana starring Rajkumar Rao opposite her.
