Post the massive success of Kabir Singh that crossed the coveted 300-crore mark at the box-office, Shahid Kapoor is now a hot property. Unfortunately, despite being a part of the industry for more than a decade, he was still not considered a groupie of the high and mighty in Bollywood.

Of course, the success of Kabir Singh has gained entry for the “Padmavat” star into the elite zone but has it affected Shahid as a person and star in a negative way?

Shahid Kapoor And His Karan Johar Video Connection

Recently Karan Johar released video of his bash that showed host of celebrities including Shahid partying the night away. These included Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and Vicky Kaushal.

The controversy emerged when accusations that the stars looking stoned as an effect of drugs came up. A couple of days after the controversy, the 38-year-old actor has finally broken his silence. Although he is not directly responding to the allegations, his remarks do seem to suggest that he is a newcomer to this zone and even now does not feel comfortable.

Shahid said, “I kind of feel like I don’t belong here, I feel like a newcomer. I need to figure out this new room, and this new club that I’ve entered. Even though I’ve been here for 15-16 years, it’s not my comfort zone; I need to get my head around it.”

He further added, “I can’t [afford to] feel like I know exactly what’s going on, and exactly what I need to do next. So I’m trying to keep it simple, and eventually, I’ll go with my instinct and my guts.”

Is he in any way hinting at his recent alleged drug session with other celebrities at the bash of Karan Johar?
