The Bachchan family is known for throwing Diwali bash every year. But in the last two years, there was no party because of the demise of close people in the family. This year Big B’s “Jalsa” opened to welcome all the A-listed stars in Bollywood and from other fraternities including business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and family.
As usual, Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan were a part of the Diwali bash but little did the “Badshah” know that he had to become a rescuer during the party and in return sustain burn injuries.
Shah Rukh Saves Aishwarya’s Manager
An unfortunate accident did occur at the party recently. But thanks to Shah Rukh Khan, nothing tragic happened as the “Zero” actor managed to help the longtime manager of the Bachchan bahu Archana Sadanand from a fire accident.
It so happened, that Archana’s lehenga caught up fire due to a Diya. Others near her were stunned and did not know what to do. At that moment quick thinking on the part of Shah Rukh saved the day. He put off the fire on the lehenga with a jacket. Thus things were immediately brought in control by the superstar.
Archana Sadanand suffered 15 percent burn injuries whereas SRK suffered some minor burn injuries too. The manager of Aishwarya is now in Nanavati Hospital recuperating. She has been kept in isolation to avoid catching an infection. Archana was admitted in the early hours on Monday and as of now is recovering slowly from the incidence.
Apart from this incidence, the Bachchan party was successful as usual. The grand affair was attended by almost all the A-listed stars including Jeetendra with his family, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli and many more. One thing is sure that the timely action by Shah Rukh Khan did save the entire Diwali bash at the Bachchan house from ending on a sour note.
