Shah Rukh Khan today in his Independence Day post shared some heartfelt feelings regarding being a true Indian.

The superstar says, “Strength & Courage. Peace & Truth. Fertility & Growth. Life in Movement. My country stands for these values. I promise to do the same on this day of 15th August and forever. We don’t need any more guidelines for being a true Indian, than these laid down by the colors of our Indian flag. Happy Independence Day to all. Jai Hind.”

The actor who has been lying low since long seems to have poured out what he feels about India. Interestingly, his song from the hit movie Chak de India by the same title is one of the biggest motivators for Indians.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Upcoming Projects

After taking a break of a couple of years, the superstar now seems to be eager to get back to the groove. Recent rumors indicate that the Badshah Khan will soon reunite with his Om Shanti Om co-star Deepika Padukone. The movie in the discussion will be directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by YRF.

The movie titled Pathan will see the superstar in the title role. Incidentally, it will be very important for Shah Rukh Khan to choose his upcoming project wisely. Post the back to back debacles of Zero and Fan, he decided to step back and wait. Now that he is planning to make a comeback the choice of project is going to be very important.

While describing the role of the superstar in Pathan an insider source said, “It’s a messy title which sees Shah Rukh Khan play the most heroic character of his career. The actor has been on the hunt to do an action film for a while now and Siddharth Anand offered him exactly what he was looking for. The character is rooted, earthy, larger-than-life, it’s heroic, it’s stylish and has the swag to pull off the big-scale action.”

The Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone movie will most probably go on the floors in November this year.
