Shah Rukh Khan Reveals His Party Symbol; Will He Join Politics?
King Khan has completed 26 long years in Bollywood, and he has certainly touched the hearts and lives of people during his journey in showbiz.
After working on the small screen, Shah Rukh entered Bollywood with ‘Deewana’, which released on June 25 in 1992.
No wonder, Shah Rukh has dedicated half of his life for others and in this second half he has expressed so much love, happiness, sadness, dancing, falling and flying. He also hopes that he touched small bits of hearts and that he can do so for the whole lifetime. Is there any second thought on this?
However, soon after the release of ‘Raees’, his million fans (including me) had been desperately waiting for him to throw light on whether he would join active politics.
Recently in an interview to NDTV, the Badshah of Bollywood scared everybody as fans kept speculating about his opinion on joining full-time politics in the future.
Shah Rukh Khan says, “I would love to do everything for the country, in terms of the job I do. As an entertainer I would love to do it. But, politics is a specialised field. Rajni Sir, I know, feels for it as well as Kamal Sir. I have had chats with them over years. And they really, genuinely feel, even before they joined politics. Both of them were in the public field helping people socially. I think they are more aware of the aspect and it seems like a natural progression. And they want to do things for people.”
Laughing, he continued, “Not that I don’t want to and not that I am not loved by people. I think it’s a specialised field. I don’t have that much knowledge of being part of politics. I think you need to be an expert. Also I believe you need to be completely selfless and dedicated to working towards making the part of your people have a better life throughout. So I don’t know if I am as strongly selfless about it as yet.”
I don’t think, I doubt I would be part of politics, he said.
But but but…
But to scare everybody, he said, “If I join politics, my party symbol would be my signature style ‘Arms open pose’.
It requires a lot more commitment than I have in this point of time, so there’s no politics, Shah Rukh concluded.
He is not only an actor above par, he has time and again proved that he is also a good human being like the ‘Being Human’ star- Salman.
At the grand finale of Salman Khan-hosted game show ‘Dus Ka Dum’, Shah Rukh said he owes his success and fame to Salman’s father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan.
The 52-year-old actor said in a statement, “The first time I came to Mumbai as a struggling actor, I had my meals at Salman’s place where Salim Khanji supported me a lot. It is because of them I have become ‘Shah Rukh Khan’. I have come on the show only because of Salman and I will go wherever he tells me to go.”
Shah Rukh has been appreciated for films like ‘Darr’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, ‘Swades’, ‘Chak De India’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Mohabbatein’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…’, ‘My Name Is Khan’ and many more.
Shah Rukh will next be seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’, alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
