Shah Rukh Khan recently completed 27 years in Indian cinema, exactly half his lifetime on earth. The Badshah entered the Bollywood arena on a motorcycle singing Koi Na Koi Chahiye in his debut 'Deewana'. Since then, he has been unstoppable as many of his films were super-hit and blockbusters.

However some of his latest releases unfortunately did not click well in the box office. Be it Zero, Dilwale, Fan or Jab Harry Met Sejal, fans' luke warm response to all these movies, might just have forced Shah Rukh to deviate from Bollywood for a while.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, King Khan revealed that he is taking a break from films to spend some quality time with his family. He said, "I have no film with me right now. Usually what happens is when your one film is coming to an end, you begin work on your next film and I get involved within 3-4 months... But this time I am just not feeling like...My heart doesn’t allow me to.. Even my kids are in their college stage...So I just want to spend more time with my family."

Shah Rukh also shared an adorable pic of his kids..

On completion of 27 years in Bollywood, King Khan took to Twitter to post a message for his fans.

On Shah Rukh's decision, veteran actor Anupam Kher who has shared a great camaraderie with him on screen, feels it’s a good one to take. "Sometimes, it helps you reinvent yourself," Anupam said.

We are sure SRK will be back with a bang. According to him, he hasn't decided on his next film. He had said that he is most likely to take a call on his next movie by June. While it's almost halfway through July, millions are eagerly awaiting King Khan's next.
