Setback For The Kapil Sharma Show; Here's Detail

TV Serials have their own set of audience and the popularity of the TV shows is defined by their TRP or the Television Rating Point. Be it 'The Kapil Sharma Show', 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma' or Amitabh Bachchan's quiz show – 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'; the earnings of these popular shows depend on their 'consistently growing popularity' or the TRP ratings.

With the beginning of every weekend, the reserved set of TV audience remain eager to know whether the show of their choice got indexed in the list of highest TRP or not. So, here we bring the TRP report of the small-screen world for this week.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai aired on Star Plus remains at the top position in the chart for this week scoring 3.8 points while Kundali Bhagya streaming on Zee TV bagged the second position scoring 2.9 points by surpassing Ekta Kapoor's daily soap Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV.

Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke was in the sixth position last week but, this week, the show has seen immense rise securing the third position in the chart with 2.7 points. Though Kumkum Bhagya dropped from its earlier position, it's running strong in the fourth position with 2.7 points.

The popular comedy soap Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma on SAB grabbed the fifth spot with 2.3 points from the seventh position.

It's disheartening for Kapil Sharma fans as his show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' on Sony stumbled down to the sixth position from fourth.

'The Kapil Sharma Show' is one of the most admired small screen shows. Kapil Sharma as the host along with other star cast in the show are well known in every household. The belly-jiggling laugh therapy has become the means of relieving stress and pain.

Fans of the show are in high anticipation expecting return of Sunil Grover as Dr Mashoor Gulati. Sunil and Kapil had split following an altercation in 2016 and since then fans have been urging them to reunite.

Several times rumours have made their ways speculating reunion of Kapil and Sunil in the show. Recently, it was speculated that Sunil Grover will join the show after release of Salman Khan starrer Bharat. But, still there is no confirmation regarding this.

Fans have kept their fingers crossed and expecting to see Sunil Grover in the show soon. Fans hope that their favourite comedy show will regain its position in the top 5 list of TRP report soon.

However, Amitabh Bachchan's popular quiz show – 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' season 11has seen an incredible growth. Though it's the show's debut week, it made its way to grab the seventh position.

Superstar Singer, Tujhse Hai Raabta and Choti Sardarni are in the eighth, ninth and tenth position in the top 10 list respectively.
