Amrita Singh debuted in Bollywood opposite Sunny Deol in Betaab. Her name was linked with many actors over the course of her career including Vinod Khanna and cricketer Ravi Shastri. She eventually tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan who was much younger than her.
After two kids-Sara and Ibrahim, the couple decided to divorce, and ever since then, Amrita has been a single mom taking care of her kids. Post marriage the Chameli Ki Shaadi actress had taken a break from acting. But she returned to the big screen in 2002 and also worked in the television serial Kavvyanjali in 2005.
