Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh worked together in the superhit movie of Rohit Shetty “Simmba.” It was Sara’s second movie post debuting in “Kedarnath” opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Although the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh had a very short role in this action flick the song “Ankh Mare” was a big hit which gave Sara a good reason to rejoice.
This particular song is a remix of the original song by the same title sung by Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurty for the film “Tere Mere Sapne” and shot on Arshad Warsi and Simran. Even at that time, this particular song was a big hit. The contemporary dance by Ranveer and Sara on this number has made it all the more entertaining.
Sara And Ranveer Singing Aankh Maare
A throwback video of Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh surfaced a few days ago in which both these lead stars of “Simmba” are sitting on a couch during an interview and singing “Aankh Maare.” It is a video shot during the promotion of the movie and looks very entertaining.

Work-wise, post “Simmba” Ranveer was seen in “Gully Boy” which is India’s entry to Oscar this year. He also recently wrapped shooting for “83” which is based on the life of legendary cricket captain Kapil Dev. His real-life wife Deepika Padukone will be playing the character of Romi Dev, Kapil’s wife. The actor also recently announced his next movie, “Jayeshbhai Jordar” for which he will start shooting soon.
Sara Ali Khan, on the other hand, has completed shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s “Aaj Kal” with her rumored beau Kartik Aaryan and is also currently filming for “Coolie No. 1” opposite Varun Dhawan. In the last few months, Sara hit the headlines mostly for her affair and breakup with Kartik.
