After giving several blockbuster movies in the last few years, Samantha Akkineni now thinks that things have changed for her in the South film industry. Though it's not like a disappointment for her, she feels that movie offers have taken a dip for her post marriage.

Speaking on her professional life, post her wedlock with Naga Chaitanya, she said that her superhit movies like Rangasthalam and Mahanati were only released after her marriage but actually, shooting of those films had started much before her wedding.

“You know, I'm suddenly carrying this mantle of post marriage, a heroine who is actually... But, I don't know how much of credit I can actually take for it because there were films like Rangasthalam and Mahanati that I was doing even before marriage, and they happened to release post marriage and became phenomenal hits. So I can't really take the credit that it happened post marriage," Samantha revealed in an interview.

The Majili actress also said that she has her career plans for the days to come. She also busted fans' curiosity by clarifying that she has no intention to step into Bollywood any time soon as she still has stuffs to give to South cinema.

Samantha Akkineni opened her 2019 records with the critically acclaimed Super Deluxe which was followed by Telugu romantic drama Majili in which she shared the screen with her husband and actor Naga Chaitanya. She will appear on-screen next in Manmadhudu 2 with Nagarjuna. The movie is a sequel of Nagarjuna’s 2002 romantic comedy Manmadhudu.
