Samantha Akkineni is going to make her web debut with the second season of Manoj Bajpayee’s show The Family Man, an Amazon Prime original.
As the shooting of The Family Man Season 2 has already ended, Samantha took to Instagram to share her digital debut experience.
She posted a picture of her facing towards the sea and captioned: “Every day on the sets of season 2 of The Family Man has been unforgettable.. To be given the opportunity and the trust to play a role so completely different from anything I have ever done before ...”
Samantha also thanked Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, widely known as Raj & DK, for giving her the opportunity to be a part of The Family Man Season 2.
“It feels like just yesterday when I locked myself in a dark room and promised to discover ‘her’ world as genuinely as I could .. And today on the last day of the shoot I can proudly say.. I definitely didn’t eff it up ..”
On her web debut, the UTurn actress had earlier said, “With the digital space booming, I knew I had to be a part of this revolution. What better way to make my digital debut, than with one of India's most loved series, The Family Man. I have loved Raj & DK's work and given the global reach and standing of Amazon Prime Video, I couldn't have asked for better partners.”
Divulging details about her role in The Family Man Season 2, Samantha had said, “The role I play for the show is diametrically different from anything I have done before. It will certainly surprise and delight my fans.”
