After celebrities like Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra extended their support to the #MeToo India movement, Salman Khan's father Salim Khan has come out in support of the complainants.

Salim took to Twitter on Tuesday extending his support and wrote, "The only defence they have is "Why so late?” It is better late than never. You don’t have to wait for the result, you have already won great public support. Aadmi pahad se gir kar khadda ho sakta hai…apni nazron se girkar nahin," he further tweeted.

Earlier, former Bigg Boss contestant Pooja Misrra shared her story accusing brothers Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Arbaz Khan of raping her when she was in an unconscious state during the shoot of ‘Sultan’.

Besides, she also accused Shatrughan Sinha and his family of harassing her and also of using black magic on her to destroy her career so that they could launch their daughter Sonakshi Sinha.

On the other hand, singer Shweta Pandit has also accused music composer Anu Malik of harassment.

In a lengthy post on Twitter, she accused Malik of being a 'pedophile and sexual predator'.
