Salman Khan’s Big Boss 13 Latest Update: Original ‘Saki Saki’ Bong Girl Locked In House?

The House of “Big Boss” is an entry ticket to stardom and fame. Many celebs or socialites who were struggling to gain a foothold in the entertainment industry have received a big-ticket and recognition through this show.

One of such actresses who has been far away from the limelight for almost a decade is now rumored to be making a comeback with “Big Boss 13.” She is none other than the Bong beauty Koena Mitra who is expected to be the one to be locked inside the house in the upcoming reality show on Colors hosted by Salman Khan.

There have been other names in the reckoning including Rashami Desai, Dayanand Shetty, Daljeet Kaur, Aarti Singh, Vahbiz Dorabjee, and Devoleena Bhattacharjee. But the prominent name is that of the original Saki Saki girl Koena Mitra who become famous for this song from the movie “Musafir.”

What Was Koena Mitra Doing Until Now?

Koena Mitra won the Gladrags Mega Model Contest in 2001 and worked in the Hindi film industry for almost more than a decade. She was first noticed by Bollywood fans in the item number from the film “Road.” She then went on to do full-fledged roles in flicks like “Apna Sapna Money Money,” “Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina,” and more. Her last Hindi movie was Anamika that was released in 2008.

After that, she did some regional flicks and her last film was a Bengali movie released in 2015. But recently she once again came into limelight for slamming the Nora Fatehi version of her song “saki saki” from the John Abraham movie “Batla House.”

Some time ago she was sentenced for six months in a cheque-bouncing case for which she, later on, appeared in the higher court. If indeed Koena Mitra gets an entry in the upcoming “Big Boss 13” house it may serve as a return to fame to this Bong bombshell. The show has been used by many celebs as a stage to start their second innings.
