Salman Khan to play superhero in new movie, Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan to join!

Speculation is mounting around a possible new project featuring Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is reportedly in talks with filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D. K.—popularly known as Raj & DK—for a quirky superhero film with a unique twist. 

If finalised, the project could mark Salman Khan’s first collaboration with the acclaimed director duo, known for their distinctive blend of action, humour, and unconventional storytelling.

First Collaboration Between Salman & Raj & DK

According to industry reports, the proposed film is expected to revolve around an ageing superhero who is ready to retire from his crime-fighting life, only to be pulled back into action for one final mission. The story is said to combine high-octane superhero action with dark comedy elements, a tone that has become a signature style of Raj & DK in projects such as The Family Man and Farzi.

The film is reportedly being planned on a large scale and could be produced by the Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers, which has backed several major commercial hits in recent years. If the script and budget are finalised, the makers are expected to begin shooting around November 2026.

Hrithik, Shah Rukh Cameo

Adding to the excitement among fans is the speculation that the film could feature special cameo appearances by two iconic superheroes from Indian cinema, Hrithik Roshan as Krrish and Shah Rukh Khan as G.One from Ra.One.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is also gearing up for another ambitious project titled ‘Battle of Galwan’, a film reportedly inspired by the events surrounding the 2020–2021 China–India skirmishes in eastern Ladakh. The project is said to portray the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers during the tense military standoff along the Line of Actual Control.
