What the Reports Say
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Salman Khan has responded positively to the initial narration. A source quoted by the portal said the film will be an action-comedy that presents the actor “in a slightly different space” compared to his recent roles. However, with Salman’s packed schedule, the makers are reportedly eyeing a late 2026 start if everything falls into place. For now, the focus remains on refining the script and locking the creative vision.
Salman Khan’s Current Focus: Battle of Galwan
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming war drama Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film, produced under Salman Khan Films, also stars Chitrangada Singh and is based on the real-life June 2020 Galwan Valley clash.
The story draws inspiration from the bravery of Indian soldiers from the 16 Bihar Regiment, led by Colonel B. Santosh Babu, focusing on frontline combat and sacrifice. Salman plays a lead officer inspired by the late colonel, aiming for a grounded and patriotic portrayal. The film is slated for a theatrical release on April 17, 2026.

Controversy Around the Film

For now, fans await official confirmation on Salman Khan’s possible collaboration with Raj & DK, which could add an exciting new chapter to his post-Battle of Galwan journey.
