Salman Khan has come to the rescue of many actors and stars from the entertainment industry so that they can get back on their feet and start afresh. From introducing new faces to helping ageing and flop stars, the “Dabangg” actor has been known to lend support to everyone in need.

“The Kapil Sharma Show” was a big hit when it started a couple of years ago mostly because of Sunil Grover, Upasana Singh, Ali Asagar and Kapil himself. The supporting cast of Sumona and Chandu also helped to take it to the top. But after the fallout of Sunil and Kapil things were disturbed and the show could not get the same response and was shunned for a long time.

It made a comeback to the silver screen through Sony television and backed by Salman Khan Productions. Incidentally, both Kapil and Sunil now do not share a good rapport and cannot see eye-to-eye. Salman being what he is roped in Sunil for “Bharat” and also gave Kapil’s show a new lease by backing it financially.

Kapil Sharma Show Losing TRP Battle

The show helmed by Kapil Sharma seems to be losing the TRP battle and barely managed to hold last week as it was thrown out of the top 10. For reality shows like “Kaun Banega Crorepati” or “Bigg Boss” or any other show, being in the top 10 is the parameter for continuing it on television. “Bigg Boss” is back in the top 10 and also “Dance Plus 5” helmed by eminent choreographer and director Remo D’Souza.

With new shows heading towards the top, “The Kapil Sharma Show” has not been able to stand the popularity chart. On the other hand, Sunil Grover is to make a comeback on television as Gutthi in “Bigg Boss 13” helmed by none other than Salman Khan. If this works out well and helps the TRP of the show, Gutthi may become a constant feature of the show for some time.

It can put “The Kapil Sharma Show” in more trouble.
