Bhubaneswar: Bring back memories of Karan Arjun, is certainly what Shah Rukh and Salman have in their minds for the millions of fans during the Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup 2018 celebrations. While Shah Rukh Khan enthralled the audience at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan today confirmed his participation in the extension inaugural ceremony to be held in Cuttack on November 28.

The Bollywood Bhaijaan took to Twitter and stated, "Happy to join Hockey Men’s World Cup Celebrations 2018 in the Millennium City of Cuttack on 28th November 2018. Come let's cheer for the World's best n make it memorable!!"

"Hi, my name is Salman Khan and I am coming to Odisha to watch the Men's Hockey World Cup and see you there at the Barabati Stadium," Salman said in the video.

Meanwhile, preparations are in final phase for the extension inaugural ceremony at the Barabati tomorrow.

If Bhubaneswar had its share of the ceremonial experience with ace music composer AR Rahman, Cuttack is all set to welcome him for what can be termed as the second phase of inauguration.

As many as 45 platoons of police force will be deployed in and around the Barabati stadium while a three-tier security will be maintained through out the event. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM and the gates of the Barabati Stadium will be opened at 2:30 PM, informed Cuttack DCP Akhileswar Singh.
