The rollercoaster ride of Bigg Boss 14 has finally ended on a high note today as Rubina Dilaik beat nemesis Rahul Vaidya to emerge as the winner of the controversial reality show. Throughout the season, Rubina stayed in the news for locking horns with fellow housemates and her turbulent relationship with husband Abhinav Shukla.
Bigg Boss 14 was full of drama, controversy, and emotions, the season however couldn’t be as popular as the other seasons and was elongated for weeks. But one of the most highlighted talking point of the season was the rivalry of Rubina and Rahul and many fans expected the final competition between them. Fans expressed that even though he didn’t win the season or the trophy, he managed to win the hearts of the audience with his nature.

Besides Rubina and Rahul, the three other finalists of the show were Nikki Tamboli, Aly Goni, and Rakhi Sawant. Nikki Tamboli was the second runners up followed by Aly Goni who didn’t make it past the Top 4.
Meanwhile, Rakhi Sawant, who is hailed as the entertainer of the show, was the first to leave during the finale as she took Rs. 14 lakhs prize money that the show offered the finalists if they chose to leave the game before entering the end game.

The grand finale was a star-studded affair with a number of celebrities coming in to interact with the finalists and performing with host Salman Khan. The finale also saw performances by this season's contestants and couples from Aly Goni - Jasmin Bhasin to Pavitra Punia- Eijaz Khan. All the finalists had their families, better halves, and former contestants cheering them.
Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik is best known for the TV show Shakti where she portrayed the character of a transgender. Whereas Rahul Vaidya shot to fame with this stint in Indian Idol after which he became a popular name in the music industry.
