Apart from directing RRR, SS Rajamouli is also busy making decisions related to the commercials of the movie. As is known, the Baahubali director himself takes care of all the promotions of his movie and is known as a perfect strategist when it comes to taking distribution and promotion decisions.
Post the massive success of Baahubli 2 the expectations from RRR are very high and Rajamouli is quite aware of it. And that is why he has made a big decision keeping all the hype surrounding the movie in mind.

SS Rajamouli Keeps North India's Distribution Deal For RRR on Hold
SS Rajamouli is currently one of the biggest South Indian directors. And hence the pan India release of RRR is going to be a major draw right from day one. Baahubali: The Conclusion raked a huge moolah at the box-office especially from the Northern belt. Keeping this in mind Rajamouli has currently kept the distribution deal of RRR for Northern territory on hold.
Yash Raj Films, Anil Thadani, and many others have already knocked on the doors of Rajamouli and are offering a big amount for getting their hands on this Alia Bhatt movie's distribution rights.

Incidentally, the director has already locked distribution deals for South India but has decided to wait for the shooting of the flick to complete to make the final deal. The shooting of the movie is expected to wrap up by March-end.

Reports suggest that Rajamouli is also waiting for the theaters in North India to open in full capacity and see the response of the audience in prominent cities. RRR will release on Dasara 2021 and will clash with Ajay Devgn's Maidaan.
