An Emotional Return to the Set

Rhea’s comeback has been deeply emotional. Stepping back in front of the camera reminded her of her earliest days in Mumbai, when she arrived at 17 with little more than ambition and determination.

Reflecting on her journey, the actor shared how life unfolded in unexpected ways, taking her far from the dream she once lived, only to bring her back to it years later — changed, stronger, and more grounded.

A Heartfelt Note to Fans and the Industry

Following the show’s announcement, Rhea shared a moving note on Instagram, writing about the seven-year gap since she last went on set and how a part of her had always waited for this moment. She described this phase as “chapter two” of her life and career, embracing the idea that life often happens while one is busy making other plans.

“7 years have passed since I went to set ..But I’m still the same girl who came to Bombay at 17 with a dream to be an actor. A part of me moved on, but a part of me stayed and waited. And I’m here, once again in my chapter2✨It seems ‘Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans,’” reads the caption.

Fans responded with an outpouring of support, praising her dignity, strength, and perseverance.

Gratitude and New Beginnings

Rhea expressed heartfelt thanks to the Family Business team, including director Hansal Mehta, and co-stars Anil Kapoor and Vijay Varma, for believing in her and giving her the opportunity to begin anew. She acknowledged their support in helping her navigate this fresh chapter with confidence.

From Hiatus to Hope

Rhea was last seen on the big screen in Chehre (2019). In the years that followed, she faced intense scrutiny and professional isolation but later re-entered the entertainment space through television. Now, with Family Business, she is not just making a comeback — she is reaffirming her passion for acting and proving that perseverance and self-belief can pave the way for meaningful new beginnings.
