Rendu Kaadhal, a musical single from Nayanthara, Samantha Akkineni, and Vijay Sethupathi movie Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal was released yesterday on the eve of Valentine's Day. Sung by Anirudh Ravichander, Shakthisree Gopalan, and Aishwarya Suresh Bindra, the song does not feature the lead actresses Nayanthara or Samantha but still manages to win hearts with its blissful melody.

Samantha dropped the single on her Instagram account in the evening yesterday and penned, "First Song from #KaathuvaakulaRenduKaadhal out #RenduKaadhal ❤️... Just the usual @anirudhofficial madness .. the big 25 and what a 25 it has been."

Rendu Kaadhal features the trio of singers singing with the musicians playing in a symphony giving a melancholy and rustic feel to a beautiful song. It is also the first single for Kollywood singer and musician Anirudh Ravinchander's 25th movie.

The heart-tugging lyrics have been written by the director of the movie Vignesh Shivan. Describing the theme of the song, Sony Music South's YouTube channel promoted it saying, "Tugging pieces of your heart, presenting #RenduKaadhal from #KaathuVaakulaRenduKaadhal! A Rockstar #Anirudh 25 special, this melody packed with the feels, written by #VigneshShivan is sure to hit you hard, leaving you yearning for more!".

Rendu Kaadhal Starts With Vijay Sethupathi Expressing His Feelings

At the start of the song, you can see Vijay Sethupathi expressing that he has two hearts. That is why he has to face two heartbreaks which bring more trouble for him. Later on, the singers take over with a full-fledged orchestra. The entire team of singers and the musicians are all dressed in black.

With dim yellow light adding more mystery and sadness to the theme, the song touches your heart with its melody and simple presentation.

Incidentally, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal will be the first collaboration between Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni and hence is one of the most awaited Tamil flicks of the year.
